Promoting your books on the weekends can be frustrating unless you know exactly what time you should post, gaining the maximum benefit. Here’s a quick guide…
On both Saturdays and Sundays, it’s best to post before people start their day. This means post before 8 a.m. or between noon and 1 p.m.
People are checking their Tweets in the early afternoon on both Saturdays and Sundays. This means you should be Tweeting between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
YouTube
Post and promote your videos on Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
BEWARE! May and September are the slowest months for YouTube. Expect your views to be down during those periods.
Stay away from Pinterest on Sundays.
As for Saturdays, use Pinterest any time before noon, or between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., or at night between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Google+
Use on Saturday and Sunday mornings between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Tumblr
Stay away from Saturdays. Use only on Sunday night after 7 p.m.
Blogs
For blogs, there’s only one time to promote during the entire weekend. It’s 11 a.m. on Saturday. Any other time and you’ll be struggling to gain readers.
